It’s Day One of the Slam Idol Open Writing Challenge!

Five poets are creating a poem from scratch, documenting their thoughts on a daily basis in an audio blog for 10 days, and submitting it to The Slam Idol Podcast to compete in contest number 17. This is a great idea by Simon and I am extremely exciting about both participating and hearing the input of so many great poets.

Listen in on my thoughts as I contemplate the format of my poem, fret a little because I have no idea, and then decide on how I will get that inspiration.
