Changing things

I’ve decided to make The Workshop more of a “life-in-progress” than the current “poetry-in-progress” theme. Audio-blogging is a good way for me to get quick thoughts out and share things that I don’t necessarily want to share on Cloudy Day Art.

Mission Complete!

I really had a great time hanging out with the local DC Poets at the March on Washington. I captured some good footage, great interviews, and hopefully made some new friends and contacts. Sarah and Melissa of the Poets Against the War organization really did a great job in organizing this.

Pre-March on Washington Preparations

It’s the midnight hour for the March on Washington with the Poets Against the War.
Latest reports say to expect 300,000 people in attendance!
I have a backpack full of audio and video equipment in tow, but I wish I thought of buying a spare battery for my video camera. We’ll see how it goes!
